About me

I developed my passion for osteopathy while working backstage on stage shows and saw time and again the injuries that members of the performing arts would sustain in their working environment. When I was injured myself while working backstage I felt the benefit of osteopathy, this experience inspired me to change careers and I realised I wanted to address people's pain and help them feel better.

Since qualifying as an osteopath I enjoy treating a wide range of conditions by using a structural approach. I am very passionate about getting you back on the road to health and back to the activities you enjoy. As well as general practice I have a special interest in treating members of the performing arts who work both on and off stage.

In my spare time I enjoy being a member of the audience rather than working on shows. I also enjoy walking and baking.

Continuing professional development

As a pre requisite of maintaining our registration and the standards set by the General Osteopath Council, osteopaths are required to undertake courses to ensure that their knowledge of medical practice, techniques and clinical reasoning is current. I am dedicated to ensuring that my knowledge is up to date so I can apply it to my clinical practice. This means that I can maintain and deliver a high standard of care to my patients.

As part of my commitment to maintaining my knowledge, I am a member of the Academy of Physical Medicine.
